 I love this book because it shows the rules in a way that sticks to your memory. Most commercial bar reviews have a huge pile of books with old rules that are barely tested. The book compiles the most tested rules, it shows the effort and dedication of the author to state in simple terms what we need to pass the bar. I strongly recommend it. 

 If you're having difficulty understanding the concepts and application of the law, then this book is the Bible.  California Bar Exam Rules 2021 gives us detailed rules that you need to know. I am one who struggled with the application of the law, and so far this book is really helping me understand things that I thought I knew. I highly recommend this book 

 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Why? The author Keeps it simple, to the point. As a foreign attorney, there is nothing more overwhelming than the amount of study material that the “big box bro” expect one to "memorize" in order to pass the bar exam. I bought this book and I immediately saw that the author emphasizes the most frequently issues tested. And, most importantly, he keeps them very simple. Exactly what I needed. Why study for something that is not even tested on the exam ? Why the paranoia of wanting to know everything “just in case” it is tested?  I would highly recommend this book for bar preparation. For me, simple always goes better. 

 Working full time and studying for the bar is overwhelming, but Ed's book cuts straight to the chase and gives you exactly what you need to arm yourself for the bar. The rules are simple, short and concise, just like a book with solely rules should be. So happy with my purchase and the ability to bookmark/search the rules as needed. Understanding the rules from this book is 100x easier than reading the convoluted rules from commercial outlines. Thank you Ed for simplifying the rules, from all of us! 

 As a J.D. graduate who has taken the CA Bar twice, I was filling up my bookshelf with outlines, study guides, and flashcards. Not to mention trying to keep up with subscriptions to untold websites that have bar prep programs guaranteed to pass. But, after meeting the author and discussing the multiple methods of Bar Prep, he told me about his book. EUREKA!  It actually gives you the simple RULES, broken down by subject, needing for memorization while writing the essays. He even indicates the most tested rules for those on a time crunch. Couldn't be simpler and clearer. it's a    MUST TOOL in CA Bar Prep!!!
